Mercury Marketing is led by Geoff Ramm who was previously a Shell LiveWIRE South Tyneside Young Entrepreneur of the Year. As well as providing specialist marketing advice to startups and micro-businesses, Mercury Marketing offers consultancy to SMEs and works in conjunction with Business Link and Barclays to deliver marketing related seminars and events across the UK.
The requirement was to totally redesign the website and bring it up-to-date in terms of the look and feel whilst retaining the brand and corporate identity.
Further, we were asked to implement a system whereby the pages could be kept up-to-date by a person without skills in web design
We created a modern and stylish website which reflected the modern and forward thinking of the company.
A Content Management System with an image manager and a MS Word style page editor were put in place to power all pages on the site. This means that Mercury can make all the changes they need to text and images without having to ask ne-web every time they wish to make a change.
The client was delighted with the results, which has led to a long and fruitful working relationship for both parties. Ouron-pahe optimisation of the website has led to high search engine results for phrases such as 'Newcastle Marketing Company' and 'Newcastle Marketing Specialist' amongst many others.
